President and Chief Storage Architect
Mark Ziskind is the founder and President of Headwaters Group and has worked in the field of IT Consulting for over 15 years. Before founding Headwaters Group in 2004, Mark was part of Sun Microsystems’ Professional Services Consulting practice where he was responsible for advising clients on deploying storage and data management solutions. Prior to joining Sun, Mark was part of PriceWaterhouseCoopers strategy and technology consulting practices that advised Fortune 1000 companies on technology investments and strategy. Mark holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Tulane University in Business, as well as a Master of Science from the University of Virginia in Management Information Systems.
Chief Financial Officer
Kathryn Scalisi, a native New Yorker, joined Headwaters Group in April 2010 as Chief Financial Officer, overseeing all financial functions of the company. Her more than 30 years of experience in a variety of industries, includes the cellular phone business, construction, commercial real estate, an international importer of granite and an international manufacturing company. Her educational background includes Hofstra University and SUNY Farmingdale. She has expertise in various financial software programs including Certification in QuickBooks. She is actively involved in her church and enjoys sewing and reading.
Director of Business Development
Mark Reedy is the Director of Business Development for Headwaters Group. With over 20 years of IT sales, marketing and business development experience, Mark is responsible for driving incremental revenue, profitability and market share growth by formulating and executing innovative sales strategies that generate positive results and maximize business value. Prior to joining Headwaters Group, Mark held key positions within the enterprise IT solution provider and distribution market. In addition to being a decorated non-commissioned officer who served in the U.S. Army, Mark attended Kaplan University where he majored in Business Management.
Bob Flagge is the Practice Director for Enterprise Storage Services for Headwaters Group and has been managing professional services engagements for over 5 years. Prior to joining Headwaters Group, Bob’s background was in the mortgage industry and commercial real estate. He specialized in office tenant representation and land development for Grubb & Ellis. He attended Georgia State University’s Ph.D. Program in Economics and earned a BS in Economics from Hofstra University.
Sandy Sweeney is the Practice Director for Data Protection and Recovery Services for Headwaters Group. As a senior software manager and consultant, Sandy has led product development groups including design, development, quality assurance, implementation and support teams. She has directed and executed sales team collaboration efforts, marketing initiatives and collection activities. Sandy has also managed the complete planning and execution of business and client conferences. She is very engaged as a community volunteer and project coordinator at local schools. Sandy earned her BA in Business Administration, Information Systems at Georgia State University.
Leslie Carter, a native of Atlanta, joined Headwaters Group in June of 2013 as Senior Recruiter. She brings over 10 years’ experience with a mix of Recruiting, HR, and Administrative background mainly in the staffing and commercial real estate industries.
Principal Storage Architect
David Rowley joined Headwaters Group in 2013 as a Storage Architect. David brings nearly 20 years of IT experience designing and deploying enterprise storage solutions consisting of block and file storage arrays, SAN fibre channel switches, Backup/Recovery systems, and Unix/Linux servers. Before coming to Headwaters Group, David gained experience in multiple industries including finance (Chase/Ameriprise/SunAmerica), entertainment (Disney Studios), telecommunications (AT&T), IT outsourcing (CSC), healthcare (Baxter/BaxAlta), and ecommerce (eBay). At Headwaters Group, David leads storage/backup assessments for Clients through the Storage Stream Reporting as a Service (Raas) offering. David also leads consulting projects for Headwaters customers in the areas of SAN/Storage deployments, along with Backup engagements and Unix/Linux projects. David has degrees from the University of Colorado at Denver and the University of Denver.
